Cryorig H7 universal has shown some good thermal results. With 4 heat pipes it manages to cool down the CPU to acceptable limits. Although, we don’t have many other coolers in comparison, but we always have numbers to decide the performance level. I tested the cooler on overclocking clocks and it did perform great having being utilized to the given potential. On the other hand, being beaten by Noctua NH-U14S is obvious, since both are of a different category.  As for slots clearance, it has a perfect Memory and PCIe slot clearance on top.

However, there are few things I didn’t like in it. Firstly, the X-bar mounting system it brought only hassle than simplicity. Cryorig should have gone with a simple retention plate for easy and simple installation. Secondly, it does have many socket supports, but it still has the capability to cool down the 2011 platform CPUs. An extra support wouldn’t hurt the Cooler at all. About the cooling fan, another 1600RPM fan on the other side would have been a worthy inclusion to the product. Despite those fact, you still have options to mount another fan but with extra bucks.

The Price point for H7 universal is already very reasonable. It is retailing at $34.50 in the international market. To the size and performance, it is definitely worth the spending. Also, don’t forget it is one good looking CPU Cooler currently available in the market.
