windows-10-only-intel-kaby-lake-amd-zenThe legacy for Windows 7 isn’t yet over, Since DirectX 12 has come out developer starting new platform for support. I am talking about the most elegant windows 10. Recent update came out form nowhere and interpreting that even hardware such as Processors will be no more on windows 7 platform.  Intel and AMD announced that Kabylake and Zen processor will have no longer support for windows 7 and windows 8. Which means Kabylake and Zen only starts on windows 10.

It was not first ever effort from microsoft to push people for windows 10, but in January Intel does tried to put skylake on windows 10, however, public didn’t agree and pressure does put intel back on personal preference. This time Microsoft confirmed their words and hence final decision came out, that kabylake and ZEN processors will work on Windows 10 only.

“As new silicon generations are introduced, they will require the latest Windows platform at that time for support,”

“This enables us to focus on deep integration between Windows and the silicon, while maintaining maximum reliability and compatibility with previous generations of platform and silicon.”

Similar, Intel reliable and reputable representative have conversation with PC world

“We are committed to working with Microsoft and our ecosystem partners to help ensure a smooth transition given these changes to Microsoft’s Windows support policy,”

“No, Intel will not be updating Win 7/8 drivers for 7th Gen Intel Core per Microsoft’s support policy change.”

On A serious note, Microsoft will have a serious edge on forcing people to use windows 10 instead of 7/8.
